The world of Tales of the Dusk Wind gathers in Ping'an Town: young hero Lin Feng, innocent A Xiu, irreverent Mirei who lives to quip, and NPCs trapped in tragic loops — a weeping mother figure, a wandering fortune-teller, and Passerby A who seems indifferent yet burns to change everyone's fate, including his own.
In this jianghu, lead and supporting roles alike carry their own light; when thought briefly slips the script, tears that have no clear source may hold a flicker of awakening — the tale grows through comings and goings toward many endings.
